The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected Google\u2019s request to pause changes to the Play Store. What the Court Order Requires Google to do<\/h3>\n

Google now has to move forward with the changes ordered last year. This includes allowing rival app stores within the Play Store. By July 2026, users will be able to download and use other app stores, such as the Epic Games Store, directly through Google Play. Google will also have to give competitors access to its app catalog, allowing other stores to offer the same apps found on Play.<\/p>\n
